M. Ct. M. Chidambaram Chettyar International School says teacher’s services terminated because she was involved in criminal case, suppressed facts

The head of the M. Ct. M. Chidambaram Chettyar International school has said that the teacher the school terminated was involved in a criminal case of forgery.

Reacting to a report in the Mylapore Times’ website and on its FB page, Sangita Varma
Head of International School sent a statement and copies of court orders to the newspaper’s office –

A. Dhanalakshmi is involved in a criminal case of forgery in Crime No. 603 of 2018, which came to light from the information given by the Madipakkam Police Station and the affected person.

The copies of the relevant records sent by the affected person is enclosed. The said A. Dhanalakshmi seems to have also obtained anticipatory bail. The copy of the bail order is also enclosed herewith. Owing to her involvement in the criminal case of forgery,  this fact was suppressed by her, the institution was left with no other option, in the best interests of students and reputation of the institution but to terminate the services of A. Dhanalakshmi on July 8.
