Training for civil services exam: state-run centre in R. A. Puram open for admission exam

The All India Civil Service Coaching Centre in R. A. Puram is now inviting applicants from economically poor students to its training course to apply for admission which is done via an exam.

The last day for registration for this exam is Sept.16, 6 p.m. and has to be done online – ( the web link to online application is here – http://www.civilservicecoaching.com)

Run by Government of Tamilnadu ‘for creating the right ambience and training’, the All India Civil Services Coaching Centre offers three levels of coaching to aspirants from less privileged background, to prepare for the IAS exam conducted by UPSC.

Some 200 candidates are chosen by way of the admission to the training process, some of them are given accommodation too. Those who pass the IAS prelims can attend further coaching here, besides the model personality tests.

While the centre has its panel of faculty for the training, outsiders are also invited as guest lecturers.
