As Marina continues to witness high waves and strong winds due to the after-effects of cyclone, policemen are discouraging people from venturing here.
They have barricaded Loop Road (near lighthouse side) to restrict public movement at the beach.
Said a police officer here, “It can be dangerous for the public to venture at Marina, as it continues to have strong winds and high waves. Hence, we have barricaded this Road.”
“We are also restricting movement of motorists as men are working to clear the beach sand, that has got accumulated on Loop Road,in the past three days.”
