Madras Inherited, a city-based group that promotes heritage walks in the city is hosting an online Walk through San Thome this weekend.The host of this event will take you down the centuries of history that layers this part of the neighbourhood – from the time it was with the ancient Tamil kingdoms to the coming of the Portuguese, Golconda and French and English, to the merchants and trade, the churches and religious heritage, the built-up heritage and what is of the place today.
