The Corporation of Chennai has proposed to construct a multi-speciality hospital on C. P. Ramaswamy Road, Alwarpet.
The bhoomi puja was held on June 14 morning. Chennai Mayor M. Subramanian was the chief guest.
The hospital will be built at an estimated cost of Rs.1.2 crores and will cover an area of 4800 sq.ft.
The multi-speciality hospital will have scan, ECG, X-ray, Lab and other facilities attached to it.
This place is close to the southern end of the Alwarpet flyover.
