Residents of Luz Church Road and surrounding areas have been complaining of power stoppages and extended ‘no power’ hours when maintenance work is on.
TNEB engineer for Luz, Jai Shankar (AE) told Mylapore Times that the power cut on January 12 was for pillar box maintenance.
These repairs and maintenance are being done on a regular basis to keep a check on the frequency of power supply and safety and this time for the Pongal weekend when the demand will be high.
