The Crime Dept. police at Mylapore police station say they have arrested three women who were habitual thieves operating on MTC buses.
They were arrested this week at a local bus stop.
Police said the trio used to operated on MTC bus route 29C and used to pick the purses and bags of commuters.
Many commuters had complained to the police of these crimes and a special team from Mylapore station tracked the offenders who are said to be natives of Karur.
