The charitable dispensary of the Mylapore Academy has received new medical equipment for its physiotherapy section.
The equipment was donated by Canara Bank, Mylapore branch. C. Ramesh, Deputy General Manager, Regional Office, Canara Bank handed over the donation at a function on March 3.
R. Akila, physiotherapist at the dispensary received the equipment.
C. S. Veeraraghavan, Hon. Secretary, S. Krishnamurthy, Hon. Treasurer and Vasudevan, chief manager of Canana Bank, Mylapore branch were also present on the occasion.
