The annual Vaikasi Peruvizha celebration at Sri Velleeswarar Temple on South Mada Street, Mylapore is to be held from May 7 to 18.
The kodiyetram was held on May 8 morning.
Adikara nandi procession was held on May 10 morning (seen in the picture).
Rishaba vahanam procession on May 12 night, ther procession early on May 14 and thirukalyanam on May 17 late evening.
Some of the accomplished nadaswaram vidwans will perform on each day.
And from May 19 to 28, there will be classical music concerts every evening, 6.30 p.m. onwards.
