The Mahalakshmi Ladies Club, Chennai Chapter celebrated the 4th anniversary on the August 6 at Sai Arvind Community Hall in Mylapore.
Vani Jairam, the renowned singer was the chief guest. The parent club of the Chennai Chapter was started by Kamala Laxman, wife of renowned cartoonist R . K . Laxman 46 years back with 4 members in Bombay.
The Club has grown over the years and now has chapters in Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad .
