The parishioners of CSI St. Thomas English Church in San Thome High Road had their annual Thanksgiving Festival on Sept.18 in the church premises.
Various stalls for food, clothes, jewellery, towels, pillow cases were kept. Many games like housie- housie, treasure hunt, bible and GK quiz were also held.
A special service was held in the morning and the parishioners put up stalls in the church premises, says Rev. Devaputhiran, Pastor at this church.
The proceedings of this sale will go towards building of churches in rural areas, he says.
