Damayanti Devi a resident of Oliver Road passed away on Oct.22.
She was born on January 1, 1932 in a small town in Assam. She was married to the well -known social worker and businessman, late Harigopal Agarwal of Dalooram Jayanavayan.
Damayanti took efforts in what ever she did to help the poor and needy, say her family member. She has been a resident of Mylapore from 1990.
She is survived by a son Rajendrakumar Agarwal and a daughter Kusumlata Nathanya.
