Schools and churches in this neighbourhood have started celebrating Christmas.
Special carols singing, plays, contests, camp fire and carols rounds are being organised at churches.
At Donmic Savio Matric School in San Thome the students of kindergarten put up a play on the birth of Christ. Fr. Sundar, Head Master was present. He presented gifts to the students.
Senior students of Santhome Higher Sec. School presented a few theme dances also had an early Christmas party on their campus. With many boys in the Santa Claus attire , it gave the event that Christmasy feel.
A crib was also set up in the school.
At C.S.I. St. Luke’s Church on R. K. Mutt Road, R. A. Puram the parishioners hosted a carols singing contest among the associations.
