R. Krishnan aged 93 years, passed away on Dec.21. He hailed from Nemmara (Kerala) and was a resident of Muth Krishna Street, Mylapore from 1978.
Having studied at Ambur N.A. District, he joined Government Service, served for about 35 years and retired as Deputy Director of Treasuries and Accounts in 1978.
He was the founder president of the Ganesh Temple adjacent to his house.
He is survived by his wife V. V. Ananthalakshmi, two sons K. Ramamurthy and K. Kumar, two daughters Chitra and Saroja.
