Old Students’ Association of QMC meet on April 3 in the college premises. About 100 alumni were present.
The main agenda discussed in the meeting was to bring in more members and draw a plan for the upcoming centenary celebration of the college in the year 2014.
The committee decided on presenting a Power Point Presentation on the History of QMC from 1914, during the celebration. This presentation will showcase information, photos, list of VIP Alumni, list of Principals from 1914, rank holders.
The committee also decided on an exclusive web site for the purpose of Centenary Celebrations.
Many shared their memories during the meet. One senior alumnus recalled that she took part in Quit India Movement as student representative.
Another from Tamil Department said that she conducted Inter College Kaviarangam headed by poet Kannadasan.
