The chess team of Chettinad Vidyashram, R. A Puram represented their school in the CBSE national chess championship 2012.
The contest was held between Nov.1 and 5 in Indore.
The school won the first position in the under – 19 girls team. The winners were A. S. Saughanthika, S. Manasa and R. Dharanisree.
The school was presented with a trophy. The team was led by coach B. Suresh and manager Karthikeyani.
