The temple is dedicated to lord Dakshinamurthy.
Preparations for this grand event began this past week. The patchy green space around this temple that stands alongside the boundary wall of the school on R. K. Mutt Road has been cleared and the ground here leveled.
On Saturday, priests were busy making arrangements for the ceremony.
