Lady Sivaswamy Girls Higher Secondary School in Mylapore is hosting Mothers Day on Jan.10.
The event is to allow mothers of all students to visit the school, take part in shows and contests and get to know their wards and the school a little better.
School teachers say that many women are not even aware of what their wards are doing in school, happy that they are attending classes.
The Mothers Day event allows such women to be more aware.
