Hundreds of students sat for their final State Board exams this morning, March 3.
The exams will go on for a few weeks hence.
In some Mylapore schools, there was a short prayer Assembly before students walked into the exam halls to take the first paper of the Plus Two exam.
Elsewhere, students sat for the exam straightaway.
