The city’s leading personalities who have contributed to society in different ways will be decorated at an event to be held Thursday evening at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore. Those who will be awarded are Dr. V. Shanta, Dr Y G Parthasarathy, Nalli Kuppuswamy, Dr Padma Subrahmanyam, Suki Sivam and Dr L. Mahadevan.
The event is hosted by Sri Krishna Sweets and Sri Sankara TV. Suki Sivam will talk on ‘Sri Kanchi Maha Periyaval’.
