Carnatic music rasikas will remember one of the maestros of this art who is no more – Palghat V Narayanaswamy. The 12th remembrance day is being held this evening at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore.
A formal meeting will be held to recall the maestro’s contribution to music and his sishyas will present a concert. The finale is a violin duet concert by vidushi A. Kanyakumari and her senior sishya, Embar Kannan who is a respected violinist in his own right.
