On July 13, eminent dancers Padma Subrahmanyam, Priyadarshini Govind, Shobhana and Vineeth are coming together to stage the 250-year-old production titled ‘Viralimalai Kuravanji’ at Alwarpet.
The music will contain rare ragas from pre-Tyagaraja days. The 90-minute production will showcase not only dance and music, but also moments of laughter. The proceeds will go towards research and dance activities of a foundation set up by Padma Subrahmanyam.
