Sri Saraswathy Gana Nilayam will be celebrating its 75th anniversary on July 26 and 27. The event will be inaugurated on July 26 at 6 p.m. by Mathaji Vithamma who will light the kuthuvilakku. Dr. Padma Subramanyam will preside over the function and P. S. Sachu, secretary of Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram will release the souvenir. Actress and director Revathy Menon, an alumni of the institution, will also attend the function.
V. V. Sundaram, Mathioli Saraswathy Devi and Saroja Vaidyanathan are the guests of honour. The function will conclude with a thematic presentation “Dhana Vaibhavam” by students of Sri Saraswathy Gana Nilayam.
