- On now at Alwarpet, is an art exhibition called ‘Mapillai Ganesha’ to celebrate 25 years of art work by artist Swarna S., an expressionist. She specialises in various media of art from pencil to stone. At Art Mart, 163, T. T. K. Road, Alwarpet. Ph: 9962913199.
- From August 29 to 31, an exhibition of oil paintings on nature by artist S. Chidambaram, will be held at Alwarpet, in support of Help for Education Movement. At C. P. Art Centre, 1, Eldams Road, Alwarpet from 9.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.
