Flea market at R. A. Puram; stall bookings open

On August 15, Bamboola playschool is organising a flea market in aid of Lotus Blind Welfare Trust of India, based in Mylapore. People can book stalls at Rs. 300 to sell their household articles, gadgets, toys, books, bags in good condition that would be of use to buyers.

The market aims to promote the idea of saving, sharing, reusing and recycling of consumer items. The stall charges contribute to the welfare of the girls from Lotus Trust, who will also be present.

The trust runs a hostel that accommodates 63 blind girls and provides them with free food and medical care. The hostel girls are studying in colleges around the city.
