The Department of Posts will release a set of commemorative postage stamps of a few music maestros of this country at a function to be held this evening ( Sept.3, 6.30 p.m.) at Sivagami Petachi Auditorium, Luz Church Road, Alwarpet. The event is held in collaboration with Brahma Gana Sabha.
The set of stamps include one on Carnatic music maestro D K Pattammal.
Sale of these special stamps will begin on Thursday. Rasikas are welcome to attend this function.
