San Thome school campus has been the theatre for a few sports contests held here to mark the diamond jubilee of the Montfort Borthers’ management of this school.
The basketball tourney for girls of city schools held in the indoor stadium here was won by the host. Vidhyodaya and Lady Sivaswamy schools stood second and third.
In the boys section in basketball, the trophy was won by St Peters and the hosts stood second.
Harish Somasundaram of BSS Hospital, Mandaveli was the chief guest. Dr.Irudayam, school principal was present at the prize-giving event.
