Hema Latha Ramaswamy is a special and talented young woman and she is flying in all the way from USA to dance on stage in Mylapore.

Despite her personal handicap, having to deal with Downs Syndrome, her parents say she has a remarkable memory that has enabled her to easily learn and recite Veda Suktams and slokams.
Hema has been learning Bharatanatyam since 2003. She had rigorous training for the past four and half years. Hema’s true dedication to this art, determination, and persistence enabled her to complete her training and perform a full concert.
