The Thirumayilai Anusha festival group (Kanchi periyava devotees group) is celebrating his birthday in a grand manner this year. The birthday (Vaikasi Anusham) falls on June 2. Various religious activities have been planned.
On June 1, there is Nama sankeerthanam at 6.30 p.m.On June 2, there is Rudhra japam at 7 a.m. followed by annadhanam at 12. The evening programme starts at 5 p.m. with Lalitha Sahasranam, followed by archanai and vedha parayanam. There will also be a ther procession.
