St. Anthony’s Girls School, Mandaveli celebrated Kalvi Valarchi Naal on July 15 at the school premises.The chief guest P. K. Rajagopal, senior advocate, Chennai High Court presided over the event and distributed the prizes to the winners of competitions held earlier.
A cultural programme followed the prize distribution ceremony. Students participated in a drama on ‘Nala Damayanti’ from Tamil literature, a play on the significance of English language, a street play on health and hygiene, an enlightening song on mathematical tables and formulae and a dance drama on the life of Dr. K. Kamaraj.
The event was organised by the principal – Rev. Sr. Jasintha Victoria -and the staff members of the school.
