The residents of Palaniswamy Apartments at 81, Luz Church Road celebrated the kumbhabhishekam of the Ishta Siddhi Vinayaka Temple in their premises in a grand manner.
The small Vinayaka Temple, built about 30 years ago has been reconstructed in a big way under the auspices of the Palaniswamy Apartments Bhakta Samajam.
Residents participated with religious fervour in the rituals that commenced on the evening of 14th September and continued till the kumbhabhishekam was performed early morning on 16th September.
Carnatic music concerts by well known vocalist Geetha Raja (a resident) and others were held in the evening. Mandala pooja will be performed for 48 days every morning and evening.
