Program officers of National Service Scheme (NSS) of Vivekananda College, Mylapore – Dr. V. N. Parthiban, Dr. T. Jagathesan, Dr. X. Vincent Jayakumar, Dr. G. Damodaran and Dr. S. Veeramani participated in an orientation programme organised by the Empanneled Training Institute of Madras School of Social work from Oct 6 – 12.
The programme included a series of lectures by social workers, Ex-NSS co-ordinators and NGO representatives. The officers also went on a field trip which covered two institutes – National Institute for Mentally Disabled and Hand In Hand.
