Thousands of students participated in the inaugural of peace torch rally, ‘Sathyajothi 2020’ held in memory of former President of India, Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam at Marina Beach on Sep 27.
Organised by Mugil Media Network, the rally will travel across Tamil Nadu in a specially designed vehicle and will reach Rameswaram on Oct 15, the birth anniversary of Abdul Kalam. The vehicle will stop at colleges and educational institutions and will deliver speeches on Dr. Kalam’s principles. Students will sign pledge forms to abide by his principles in their daily lives.
