Mridangam vidwan Thiruvarur Bhaktavatsalam is hosting his annual music festival, Laya Madhuraa Sangeethotsavam with a launch this evening at Arkay Centre, R. H. Road, Luz.
His students will preview the event at 5 p.m. with a group recital of percussion music, then follows the launch event at which vidwan V. Narasimhan will be recognized.
A vocal concert by Thiruvarur Girish follows.
