Brahmotsavam celebrations will be held at Sri Ayyappa Swami Temple, R. A. Puram from Dec 22 – 27. The event will start off with the flag hoisting ceremony on Dec 22 at 6 p.m. On Dec 23, a 1008 sahasra kalasa abhishekam will be performed for the deity in the morning followed by deepa aradhanai. In the evening, a puja will be performed for the 18th step.
On Dec 25, the programmes will start at 5 a.m. and will include a 25 kalasam dhravya abhishekam. A chariot procession (Ther) will be held in the evening on Dec 26.
