Games, songs and more at Chettinad Vidyalaya’s Bunny’s Day celebration

bunnys dayG. Bhuvan Babu, leader trainer (cubs), was the guest of honour at an event – ‘Bunny’s Day’ conducted for UKG and Montessori III children of Kumara Rani’s Chettinad Vidyalaya, R. A. Puram on Jan 19. The day began with a bunny prayer and a bunny song.

A vibrant cultural performance projecting the Martial Arts of South India was then presented by the students. Later the bunnies were taken in groups to four different bases where games were conducted to encourage team spirit and physical skills.

Dr. Meena Muthiah, secretary and correspondent of the school, presided over the function. The event held at the school premises, was attended by the school principal Amudha Lakshmi, the headmistress Aruna Balasubramanian and several dignitaries from Bharat Scouts and Guides.

Certificates were awarded to all the bunnies by the guest of honour. The vote of thanks was delivered by the Shyamala. K. – the assistant headmistress.
