In her previous avatar, Indu Balachandran was an advertising professional – for 30 long years. Writing though was a passion. In recent years, the R. A. Puram-based Indu has been writing furiously – for newspapers and magazines.
Books were on her mind. Indu has just released her second book.
Titled ‘Runaway Writers’, the book is in the romance genre and draws from life in Chennai and from her own writing workshop experiences in Greece.
Travel writing is her forte. Whatever she writes on, Indu laces it with humour. She makes you chuckle or smile. Perhaps it was humour which saw her through the crazy world of advertising and enjoy the new avatar.
