East Mada STreet and South Mada Street are now covered with dust and sand and this is polluting the area, especially at speak hour times when the traffic in heavy and cars and bikes kick up the soil that lies on these streets.
The soil lies all over the place following civic work that is on now in these two streets where the Chennai Corporation is laying wide pavements as part of a much-delayed project that covers Luz and the heart of Mylapore.
Workers have dug up sides of the two streets and much of the soil has run all over the streets.
