The inaugural alumni meet of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College held recently, saw hundreds of its graduates meet and network with each other. There was a good participation of alumni from the 1940 batch to the 2010 batch, across various streams.
The welcome note was delivered by P. K. Ranganathan, a member of the organising committee who talked about bringing together all the alumni members comprising five lakh graduates. Several other alumni members including M. S. Sunderrajan, former CMD of Indian Bank and R. Sivakumar, partner, KARRA and Co. too talked about their delight in being a part of this meet and the need to contribute to the college and towards social causes.
