Two branches of banks which have their base in Kerala chose to, as they always do celebrate the festival of Onam in their own ways at their premises in the area.
State Bank of Travancore on Greenways Road, R A Puram ( seen in the photo featured here) and South Indian Bank, R. H. Road, Mylapore branch welcomed customers with pookalams designed in the central hall.
The bank staff in both places were dressed in traditional attire for the occasion.
