‘Crazy Thieves in Palavakkam’ revived, first show on Sept.6

Actor-politician S. Ve. Shekher is reviving his Tamil play ‘ Crazy Thieves in Palavakkam’.

First staged in 1976, the play written by Mohan who then came to be known as ‘Crazy’ Mohan after the play he wrote got very popular, the revived play with a new set of actors will be stage don September 6 evening at Narada Gana Sabha as a paid show.

The story is about a group of thieves who break into a house in Palavakkam, a colony on East Coast Road and stay in there for sometime.

When Mohan wrote this play, there were very few habited places in Palavakkam.
