Almost all sabhas and arts promotion bodies in Mylapore and across the city are dedicating today’s concerts to the memory of M S Subbulakshmi, Carnatic music maestro whose birth centenary day it is today.
The P S Institute of Arts along with a few other bodies is hosting an event this evening at the Dakshinamurthy Auditorium in its campus where S. Gurumurthy will speak and then, Gayatri Venkataraghavan will present a concert dedicated to MS. Open to all. Starts at 6 p.m. today.
