Hamsanadam Music School, Mandavelipakkam celebrated their 21st annual day on Nov. 20 at P. S. School, Mylapore. N. V. Subramanyam, additional GM, Southern railways and managing trustee, Saraswathi Vaggeyakara Trust presided over the event. The chief guest was vocalist P. Unnikrishnan.
The theme for the evening was ‘Durga Lakshmi Saraswathi’ and more than 90 students, a few of them as young as 5 years old, performed at this event. Later a donation of Rs. 25000 was made to a senior citizen home by the founder director of the school Dr. Subha Ganesan. The school can be contacted at 9444922234.
