The members of Raja Street Residents’ Welfare Association, Mandaveli will be conducting their third Margazhi kolam competition and annual pongal celebration on Jan. 8 at the street premises.
A kolam competition based on the theme ‘Pancha boothangal’ will be held. A common pongal paanai (pot) will be kept and pongal will be distributed to all. Mylapore MLA Nataraj is the chief guest at the event. 9 a.m. onwards. For details contact 9841033715.
