Kapaleecharam Committee in association with NGO Thuvakkam will be celebrating “Environment Week” from June 5 to 10 with events on the Mada Streets around Sri Kapali Temple, Mylapore. The programmes will include an environment awareness campaign, street plays and sessions with eco-experts.
On June 4, a ‘Green Earth’ exhibition will be held near the temple. Several groups will display and
demonstrate solutions for effective solid waste management. Those interested in exhibiting their
