A Mandaveli based crime history sheeter has been among a dozen and more criminals arrested by city police under the Goondas Act.
Jyoti Basu is said to have been involved in a number of crimes in the city and has served time in jail after being arrested and served sentences by local courts.
Recently, the city police decided to act against many habitual offenders and arrested them.
