The Champions of Chennai awards event is held every year to recognise people of this city who have contributed in a unique manner to the city and its people. People chosen for the award are mostly those who have not been feted often or those who stay out of the arc lights.
This year, the function is at 6.30 pm on August 16 at Smt Sivagami Petachi Auditorium ( M Ct M School campus), Luz Church Road, Alwarpet.Â
The chief guest this year is CavinKare Pvt Ltd. CMD, C K Ranganathan.
The awards and event is hosted by KSA Trust, Mylapore.
