Tamil drama fest, hosted by Sri Brahma Gana Sabha starts today ( Aug.2)

Some of the best Tamil plays produced in recent times will be staged at the Aadi season Tamil Drama Fest that is being hosted by Sri Brahma Gana Sabha from this evening ( August 2) at the TAG-Dakshinamurthy auditorium in the P. S. School campus in Mylapore.

The opening play, to be staged this evening is the evergreen play ‘Andha Naal’ written by the late maestro Veena S. Balachander. It will be staged after the brief inauguration of the fest by Nalli Kuppuswami and Mylapore MLA, R. Nataraj at 6.30 p.m.

The plays to be staged at this fest include ‘ Demo Crazy ‘ on Aug.3, ‘Vivaahamaalai.com’ on Aug. 5 and ‘Edhu Nizhal Edhu Nijam’ on Aug.12.

The plays are free and open to all.
