Two books, ‘Sangeetha Kalanidhi – I and II’ written by composer and music director late Gali Penchala Narasimha Rao, were released at an event organised by his son G. M. Shobhnath on Dec 30 at Tattvaloka, Alwarpet.
Book I (varnams) was released by vidwan Madurai G. S. Mani and Book II (krithis) was released by musicologist Dr. R. S. Jayalakshmi. Book I contains 18 varnams while book II has 24 krithis.
