Sri Murugan Departmental Stores has been in existence at V. K. Iyer Road, R. A. Puram since 1989. The store was started by M. Subbiah Nadar to cater to the everyday needs of the community.
The brand added a second store in Feb 2016, with exclusive kitchen and tableware products, small appliances and utensils.
There are popular brands like Prestige and Preethi kitchen products, Milton and Treo bottles and flasks, storage solutions from Signoraware on the shelves here.
In addition, the store also sells fresh ground Leo coffee powder in their premises.
The store is celebrating the second anniversary this week and there are special discounts on the products.
There is a free service camp by Preethi on Feb 9 and 10. For purchases above Rs. 1000, free saplings are also given out.
